  • How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? Lu Ten was and is a soldier, so regardless of whether or not he is active, he has been trained to be organized so that he can effectively be apart of a coordinated force, but still leave room for creativity in action. Lu Ten has a certain order he places things around him in and he normally follows it to the letter, but he knows when to be improvisational and isn’t particularly OCD about his organization.
  • Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? Lu Ten is certainly capable of being a scholar. After all, he received a royal’s education and was expected to know politics, history, language, culture(though perhaps from an aggressor’s perspective), mathematics, and certainly the art of waging war. Lu Ten excelled in war and history because that is what he was pushed to do. However he also has an interest in zoology and cultures, though he has a slight problem of othering cultures especially different from his own. But he means well and usually his fascination with the ‘exotic’ is not a real problem since he is very compassionate and considerate.
  • How do they see themselves 5 years from today? Lu Ten is still trying to put together a life for himself after the war. He hasn’t got a plan for where he might be in five years other than he wants to be with his family again and have some amount of peace of mind. Right now he’s going at it one step at a time.
  • Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout? If something goes wrong with what he’s trying to build for himself now, then Lu Ten’s only option is to fight. At this point fighting is inherent to him. Fighting for peace, fighting for a stable life, fighting his regrets. Lu Ten doesn’t plan to lose any fight, literal or metaphorical.
  • What is their biggest regret? He feels he screwed up when he didn’t tell anyone immediately about Ozai’s plan to become Fire Lord.
  • Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? Lu Ten has several friends he made in the war, but his best friend was first his lieutenant, Hai. So far he hasn’t let anyone else get as close to him since she died. Lu Ten saw Ozai as his worst enemy once, but he slowly came to see politicians as his worst enemies.

Lu Ten wandered through the small port town, looking for a place to eat. This place catered to all nations, so he was fairly certain he would be able to find a place that served smoked sea slug, or at least a variant of it. He was craving some seafood at the very least. But it was also kind of fun looking for a restaurant, especially since the market was so eclectic in what it sold. As long as he avoided the darker allies and rowdier bars, he was enjoying himself today.

Top 5 favourite moments with your dad.

Now these were difficult to pick out…
  1. When Zuko was a newborn, we went to Ember Island with Him and Aunt Ursa to keep them company. Everything was so laid back and then my dad said that I should always look after those younger than me. Well, it was a wonderful time and I could see that Dad would always try to protect us.
  2. There was this time on Ember Island I remember clearly, right before my dad was headed off to the front again. We were playing soldier and it instead dissolved into laughing. There wasn’t really anything said, but it was just a moment of bonding with my dad that…I really treasured it as being one of the last times we would laugh that freely and meaninglessly together.
3. My dad taught me how to play Pai Sho, but it took me a long time to beat him. When I finally did I was so happy and he congratulated me with some more tea and, strangely enough, a sungi horn.
4. The last time my dad would ship off to the front alone, before I would leave with him, we fell asleep with Zuko in front of a fire. It was a nice peaceful moment, really.
5. There was this time me and my dad were traveling in the same group towards the front at Ba Sing Se, when the komodo rhino my dad was on, got spooked and took off running. I tried to follow, along with some of our men, but when we finally caught up, we discovered that the rhino hadn’t gotten spooked at all. My dad was standing there facing away from where his female komodo rhino was playing around with a wild male komodo rhino. We had been really worried, but the look on my dad’s face was enough to makes us all break out laughing. Even though it took a long time to get moving again since we couldn’t do much about the rhinos.

Ask me my ‘top 5’ anything

I will answer them all tomorrow. In one go…

Well, I just ran into her. And she gave off the same kind of vibe Aang had, only a lot more cooler, heh! Not that Aang isn't cool, it's just he doesn't take as many dangerous risks.

Well I guess that makes sense. I mean how old is Aang compared to Korra? And I hope you two aren’t getting into any trouble. You’re not doing anything too dangerous when you hang out, are you?

asks:
Catching up with family, huh? Azula is the crazy one, not you. And Zuko has become quite the Mr. Grumpypants, but I'm sure he'll be glad to see you again. And I'm doing fine! Ran into Korra, the next Avatar. She's pretty awesome.

*smiles at her words* Avatar Korra? How did you two meet?
